888poker Super XL Series Kicks Off on January 19th

The Super XL Series of the 888poker brand starts on January 19th to see the seventh edition of the tournament start. Apart from the fact that this year’s event offers players a great variety of 63 poker events with various buy-ins and prizes, the Super XL Series will feature a massive guaranteed prize pool of $5,000,000 for the first time ever in its history.

The tournament is to last for twelve days, from January 19th to 31st and is expected to set a new record, after the sixth edition of the Super XL Series in September 2016 was the largest one up to date, with a guaranteed prize pool of $4,000,000.

Also, 888poker’s Super XL Series VI was the tournament which offered the exceptional prize of $1,500,000 at its Main Event, which also managed to gather a record players base of 1,291.

The first day of the Super XL Series will see a total of three events start. Players are to be able to join the $80,000 Super XL Opening Event, which features a buy-in of $109 at 19:00 GMT. A Mini Opening Event, which offers a $12 buy-in and a guaranteed prize of $15,000 is to start at the same time. The third event that is to kick off on January 19th is the Super XL Turbo Opening Event, with a buy-in of $55 and guaranteed prize estimated to $20,000.

Over the next eleven days of the tournament, players will be able to choose from a large number of events, including Twins Royal, Twins Flush, Mega Deep, Tune Up, Whale, etc.

Of course, there are a number of events that are expected to attract the attention due to their massive prizes and affordable buy-ins. Players would probably find the Twins Royal and the Twins Flush events, both of which offer buy-ins of $55 and guaranteed prize pools amounting to $20,000. The two events are scheduled for January 20th.

Another interesting event is the Super XL Crazy 8 which is to start at 19:00 GMT on January 21st. The event features a prize of $80,000 and can be entered in return to an affordable buy-in of $88. Players are also expected to be attracted by the Super XL Tune Up event on January 22nd. It offers a massive prize of $250,000 and features a $160 buy-in.

January 23rd will see a couple of $15,000 events to kick off. The Omaha Event features a buy-in of $109, while the Snap Event will cost them $55 only. They are to start at 19:00 GMT and 20:00 GMT, respectively.

The seventh edition of the Super XL Series will also offer a High Roller event featuring a massive prize of $350,000 that can be entered in return to $2,100 on January 24th. The next day will see a $109 buy-in 8-Max event start. The organisers of the Super XL Series also think that three of the events starting on January 26th would be found as particularly attractive by customers. These are the Americas Event, the R&A Event and the Quarterback.

Many players would probably find the Super XL Knockout on January 27th attractive. On the next day, there is a $75,000 6-Max event, which features a buy-in of $160. January 29th will see the long-awaited Super XL Main Event start, featuring an enormous guaranteed prize of $1,500,000, which will be available for the entrants in return to a buy-in of $1,050.

The last day of the seventh edition of the Super XL Series will see on event only – the Super XL Champion of Champions Event, in which every player gets prize.
